Your works will be published in next term on the site www.artija.net which means that your works satisfy criterions including your idea aesthetic and artistic values of your work/s. If we mark one or more of your works then the marked work/s will be included among other works in the contest For the Zikison Award of Year. The rest of works are not for a competition but if the works satisfy they will be published on www.artija.net by electro-satirical newspaper which name is Satir.

Živojin Pavlović Žikišon

ŽIKIŠON (1885. - 1950.) Was a Satirist, a caricaturist, an editor, a publisher, and a printer. Between two wars in Serbia he was an actuator, a Co-Author editor of many of newspaper for humor and satire. He has been  suffering and imprisoned by Communist Regime in 1949. Soon after that torture and seizing his property, he was died in 1950.

Žikišon je živeo od 1885.-1950. Satiričar, karikaturista, urednik, izdavač i štampar. Pokretač je saradnik i urednik više listova za humor i satiru između dva rata u Srbiji. Stradao je i bio zatvoren od komunističkog režima 1949. posle te torture i zaplenjene imovine, ubrzo je 1950. preminuo.

Definiting to caricature and comic strip as a graphic narration and a particular artistic  genre, there is determined a role and an importance of this The First International Competition called "ZIKISON", in which surprisely have attended over 60 authors from 30 countries from three continents.
Jury had a hard task of selecting only nine of many high-quality works, what are three times three in three categories.
They are in front of you!

Definišući karikaturu i kratki strip kao grafičku naraciju i poseban umetnički žanr, određena je uloga i značaj ovog I međunarodnog Konkursa pod imenom "ŽIKIŠON" na koji se iznenađujuće odazvalo preko 60 autora iz 30 država sa tri kontinenta.
Pred žirijem se našao težak zadatak da od velikog broja kvalitetnih radova izabere samo, devet, ili tri puta tri u tri kategorije.
